Here is the update for today:

Practical Chemistry:
• No new HW today. Be sure to complete HW#2 worksheet (which is now past due) and send me an e-mail from your e-mail account if you still have not received your progress report.

Regent Chemistry:
• HW #3 (Due Tomorrow): Holt - Read pp. 21-28; Do p. 28 Problems #3, 6, 7, 8.
• Lab. #1 continues tomorrow during Wednesday Period 1 (starts at 7:20 AM) in Rm. 311.

• No new HW for today. However, a large number of you have not hand in HW #2 worksheet. Be sure to submit the completed work by tomorrow.
• Progress Report will be sent out tonight.

Regent Chemistry 1:
• No new HW for today. However, be sure to submit the completed HW #2 worksheet by tomorrow if you have not already done so.
• Progress Report will be sent out tonight.
• Labs Begin tomorrow - Tuesday P1 session meet in Rm. 311 by 7:20 AM. Be on time!

Update for 9-17-2010

Here is the update for this weekend:

• HW #2 Worksheet on Properties of Matter, Mass vs. Weight, and Density is due Monday.
• If you have not send me the e-mail from your e-mail account, please be aware that I will be sending you the progress report this weekend with your current grade and hopefully your preliminary diagnostic exam result. If you don't provide me with your e-mail, then you will not get your progress report.
• Regent Chemistry Class: We expect the lab to be starting sometimes next week (Tuesday and after). More details will be provided on Monday.

Welcome Back: 9-13-2010

To my students,

Welcome back! Here is the assignment for all classes: (Both Regent and Practical Chemistry classes)

HW #1: (Due Tomorrow)
1) Both you and your parent should read through the course syllabus tonight, print, and sign your names on the back. Do not tear off the bottom. The whole sheet will be collected tomorrow, checked and placed in your personal folder.
2) You are to send an e-mail to me at "drliu.iths@gmail.com" from your e-mail account:
• At the subject heading, write your last name, first name, and class period.
• In the body of the e-mail, write your parent's name, e-mail address, and phone number.
• (For Regent Chemistry Class): Write down your program for Period 1 and Period 9. If no class, write "No Class" or "Free".
• (For Regent Chemistry Class): Try out the online textbook using the instructions listed in section IV of the syllabus to see which version of textbook you would prefer.
