Only if you are having trouble with the SmartScience Online Labs, then download this Lab. Sheet and following the URL to do an make-up Virtual Earthquake lab online. Download the MS Word Version if you plan to type your data and submit electronically, or PDF Version if you want to print out a hardcopy or cannot access the MS Word Version.

Here is the update for today:

Regent Chemistry 1:
• HW #26 (Due Tomorrow): Worksheet - Types of Elements, Ionization Energy, and Electronegativity.
• Tomorrow will be the only chance for absentee today to make-up for the Quiz taken today.
• Lab. #11 will continue tomorrow morning during P1 in Rm. 311. Completed lab. sheet is due next Monday.

Earth Science 1:
• No HW tonight. In-Class Mineral ID lab tomorrow.

Here is the update for today:

Regent Chemistry 1:
• HW #26 (Due FRIDAY): Worksheet - Types of Elements, Ionization Energy, and Electronegativity. Skip the questions on atomic/ionic radii to wait for tomorrow's lesson, practice other problems for the Quiz tomorrow.
• Lab. #11 will continue tomorrow morning during P9 (and Fri-P1) in Rm. 311. Completed lab. sheet is due next Monday.
• Quiz #4 Tomorrow: Periodic Tables - Different Types of Elements and their characteristics, metallic vs. nonmetallic characters, 1st ionization energy and electronegativity.

Earth Science 1:
• Make sure you complete Lab. #11 Mineral Identifications (Answer all the questions on the backside) for submission no later than TOMORROW.

Sorry about the delayed update: Had to leave the school early on Wednesday since the mandatory lock-down was imposed, and been busy running the errands during the Thanksgiving holiday ever since... Any way, here is the update:

Regent Chemistry 1:
• HW #24 (Due Monday): Holt - Read pp. 132-141, Do p. 141 Problems # 1, 3, 4, 5, 12.
• Thanksgiving Take-Home Exam has been posted on CastleLearning.Com - DUE MONDAY!!
• For those of you who did Lab. #9 either on Tuesday or Wednesday, Lab. Report #9 will be due on MONDAY!!


Earth Science 1:
• A Thanksgiving Take-Home Exam has been posted on CastleLearning.Com. This will be graded as an exam for 2nd marking period. DUE: MONDAY.
