Update for 10-2-2013

Here is the update for today:

EARTH SCIENCE 1:
• Lab. #4 will be conducted tomorrow in Rm. 315 during your regular class period.
•  A make-up session for Laboratory #1:  Laboratory Safety will be conducted on Thursday (Tomorrow) after 9th period.  This will be the only make-up for this lab.

REGENT CHEMISTRY 1:
•  HW #7 (Due Friday):  Worksheet - Significant Figures & Error Propagation.
•  Lab. #4 will be conducted on Friday in Rm. 311.
•  Unit 1 Exam will be set for next Tuesday.

Here is the combined update for yesterday and today:

EARTH SCIENCE 1:
• Unit 1 Exam has been completed as of Tuesday.  If you missed it, it's your responsibility to see me for a make-up (No later than Wednesday).
•  A make-up session for Laboratory #1:  Laboratory Safety will be conducted on Thursday after 9th period.  This will be the only make-up for this lab.

REGENT CHEMISTRY 1:
•  HW #5 worksheet and Lab. Report #3 are both PAST DUE!!
•  HW #6 (Due Tomorrow):  Worksheet - Temperature Conversion & Physical State Determination.
•  Unit 1 Exam will be set for next Tuesday.

Update for 9-27-2013

Here is the update for this weekend:

EARTH SCIENCE 1:
• Preliminary Diagnostic Exam has been completed as of today.  If you missed it, it will be your responsibility to come to see me about making up the exam on Monday.
• Unit 1 Review Sheet has been distributed in-class today.  Complete it as HW for this weekend.  We will go over it briefly on Monday.
• Unit 1 Exam will be held on Tuesday.  Be sure to bring sharpened #2 pencil, calculator, and ESRT.

REGENT CHEMISTRY 1:
•  If you missed Preliminary Diagnostic Exam on Thursday, you must ask me for a make-up by Monday.
•  HW #5 (Due Monday):  Worksheet - Metric Unit Conversion & % Error Calculation.
•  Completed Lab. Report #3 is due on Monday.
•  Unit 1 Exam is tentatively set for Wednesday / Thursday time frame.

Here is the combined update for Wednesday and Thursday:

EARTH SCIENCE 1:

• Lab. #3 has been completed and most of you have turned in completed lab. sheet.  If you haven't turn in the lab. sheet, make sure you submit it no later than tomorrow.
• Preliminary Diagnostic Exam will be held on Friday (Tomorrow).  Be sure to bring sharpened #2 pencil, calculator, and ESRT.
• Unit 1 Review sheet will be distributed on Friday.  Be sure to complete it as HW over the weekend.
• Unit 1 Exam will be held on Tuesday.  Be sure to bring sharpened #2 pencil, calculator, and ESRT.

Earth Science 1: 

• To assist you with the homework and to get everyone on the same page, I have posted today's complete lesson here for you to download and review. You will be responsible for the content in this lesson handout.

•  HW #3 Worksheet (Due Tomorrow): Density and Rate of Change. 

•  Lab. #3 will be held on Thursday in Rm. 315.

•  Preliminary Diagnostic Exam will be held on Friday. (Bring #2 pencil, calculator, and Earth Science Ref. Tables - ESRT).

•  Unit 1 Exam will be held next Tuesday. 


Regent Chemistry 1:

• HW #4 (Due Tomorrow):  Worksheet - Separation of Mixture &  Density.

Here is the update for  today:

Earth Science 1:
• Quiz #1 completed.  No HW for this weekend.

Regent Chemistry 1:
• HW #4:  Worksheet - Separation of Mixture & Density.  Work on the first side over the weekend.  On Monday we will go over Separation of Mixture.  The entire worksheet will be due on Tuesday.
• Completed Lab. Report #2 (with lab. sheet) will be due on Monday.  Please staple Lab. sheet on top of the report.  I will only accept your submission with both documents stapled together.
