Update for 10-5-2011

Here is the update for today:

Regent Chemistry 1:
• HW #9 (Due Tomorrow): Holt - Read pp. 54~59, Do p. 59 Practice Problems 1, 2, 3.
• Lab. #4 continues tomorrow during P9 (and Fri - P1) in Rm. 311.
• Announcement: Next week's Lab. #5 Wed-P1 session will be changed to Tues-P1 session due to PSAT schedule on Wednesday.
• For extra HW credit: Bring 1 aluminum soda can (empty, clean, uncrushed) in preparation for the Gas lab to be held after next week. The collection of the can will starts tomorrow and runs until next week.
• Reminder: Unit 1 Exam to be held on next Tuesday: Bring #2 pencil, Reference Tables, and a real calculator.
• Reminder: This Friday is the deadline for all make-up assignments (HW & Labs).

Earth Science 1:
• We've finished Lab. #4 today (make-up for last week) - there will be a Lab. #5 this Friday.
• Reminder: Unit 1 Exam to be held TOMORROW: Bring #2 pencil, Reference Tables, and a real calculator.
• HW #5 (DUE TOMORROW): As a review for tomorrow's unit exam, I will be posting a set of review questions on CastleLearning.Com for you to work on. Be sure to complete it tonight (No make-up on this one). The instruction for completing CastleLearning.Com assignment is as below:

Instruction:
a. Click the link for CastleLearning.Com.
b. Use your 9-digits student ID for both ID and password entry.
c. Upon Login, it will prompt you to set up for your own password; set it up and record the password for future reference.
d) Click on "ES1 Unit 1 Review Questions" to complete the review assignment. Be sure to finish all the questions (otherwise the server will not grade the exam and mark it as incomplete). You will have access to the hints and will be able to complete this assignment in multiple sessions.
