To My Regent Chemistry Students:
Some of the topics in the Regent Chemistry Curriculum were not covered in regular classes due to the lack of instruction time. I am posting condensed summary Powerpoint lessons in PDF format for you to download and review. These lesson notes should be more understandable compare to just a list of key concepts since it will try to walk you through the actual lesson itself. Take advantage of it and use it to help you prepare for Chemistry Regent Exam!
• Kinetics Molecular Theory of Gases & Gas Laws
• Chemical Kinetics
• Nuclear Chemistry
• Organic Chemistry: IUPAC Nomenclature & Functional Groups
• Organic Chemistry: Organic Reaction Types
Good Luck on the Regent exam!
Dr. Liu

Earth Science Lab Practicum Review
For those of you who will be taking the Earth Science Lab Practicum, I have enclosed the following sites for a concise review of the relevant topics:
1. Earth Science Lab Practical Review PowerPoint: This link will lead to a PDF describing roughly the knowledge needed to complete the tasks required at each of the three test stations.
2. Red-Hook Central Schools - Regent Earth Science: This is another Powerpoint that provide an even more detailed version of the tasks that you are asked to perform on the ES Lab. Practicum.
3. Mr. Kowalik's NYS Earth Science Lab Practical Review Time Part D: This site include links to several YouTube Video that help you review the topics. However, since NYSDOE block YouTube access from the school, I couldn't verify the links personally, so proceed carefully.
Look through these links before your ES Lab. Practicum, you will be better prepared.
Good Luck!
