Welcome to the start of Spring 2012 Semester!

Here is the update for today:

Regent Chemistry 2:
• HW #1(Due Tomorrow) -
a)Have your parent read and sign the course syllabus - to be collected tomorrow (Do Not tear off the signatures part, turn in the whole sheet).
b) Send an email to me at "drliu.iths@gmail.com" from your regular e-mail account; In the subject heading put your Last name, First name, & Period. In the body of the e-mail include your parent's e-mail address.
c) Verify the online textbook access to see if you are comfortable with it. If not, you can always check out a hardcopy by completing the book receipt. The information you need is as follows:

Here is the update for today:

Regent Chemistry 1:
• No HW tonight. Study for Quiz tomorrow.
• Quiz tomorrow will consists of 2~3 questions: Conversion from Moles to # of particles/ions/molecules (or vice versa), Molar Mass, and % Composition. (~ 10 minutes).

Earth Science 1:
• Unit 4 Exam done.
• Regular lesson tomorrow.

• Quiz on Moles Conversions and Molar Mass will be held on Friday.
• Reminder: No labs. this week.

Earth Science 1:
• Unit 4 Exam will be held tomorrow (Be sure to bring #2 pencil and ESRT). Study your notes. The lesson notes for today can be downloaded here.

• Unit 5 Exam done! For those absentees, be sure to come to find me during 1st period next Tuesday for exam make-up. Otherwise, once I give back the exam on Tuesday, you can't make up the exam.
• Lab. Report #16 will be due Next Tuesday! (Reminder: No labs next week!)

Earth Science 1:
• An online open-notes quiz on Weathering, Soils, and Erosion will be posted on CastleLearning.Com tomorrow. DUE Date: Next Tuesday!
• Announcement: Unit Exam on Weathering, Erosion, and Deposition will be held either next Wednesday or Thursday.

Earth Science 1:
• No HW tonight. In-class lab may be held in Rm. 315 tomorrow (watch for posting on the door).
