Update for 5/30/08

To my students,

here are the updates for this weekend:

Regent Chemistry 2:
• Work on as much of the problems you can for the HW #37 worksheet. Some of the questions may be related to your textbook reading. (Yes, Anthony had pointed out some of the questions were repeated...).
• For those of you that need to get your labs count up to meet the state's requirement, be sure to attend Ms. Ha's morning lab. session next Monday/Tues/Wed. (7:10 AM) and my afternoon lab. session (2:45 PM) in Rm. 311. They will be different labs., and each lab. will be offered only once. No exceptions. The following people will definitely have to make it to all available lab. sessions: Ruben, Liron, Daqwan, George, Baylen.
• If you're still holding on to your labs., as I've stated, you may be put on the ineligibility list (and that's that).
• Unit exam probably next Wednesday/Thursday.

Earth Science 2:
• If you still have not finished Lab. #31, finished it over the weekend and hand it in!
• As I mentioned, we're finalizing the Regent eligibility list by next Wednesday. Whatever labs. I have by that date will be it, there won't be any more after next Wednesday. No exception.
• Unit exam possibly next Tuesday/Wednesday.

That's all. Have a good weekend.

Update for 5/21/08

Hi everyone,

here is the update for today:

Regent Chemistry 2:
• Most of you did pretty decent on the exam... Enjoy the night!

Earth Science 2:
• Some of you did come to the afterschool labs. today, good. Quite a bit of you didn't. Let me make it perfectly clear, this is your last chance, if you choose not to come, then you should be prepared for the consequence (i.e., taking summer school - if you qualify, or retake the class next semester).
• Tomorrow there will be another afterschool lab. from 2:45 ~ 4:00 PM.

* Reminder: There's a number of you who still owe me lab. reports from before (and some homeworks as well), make sure you submitted them before the end of this week. Over the weekend I will need to compile Regent Eligibility list and submitted them to A.P.. So if you want to be eligible, better get moving or you'll be left behind.
