End of 2012-2013 Year!

To my students,

I have came across many of you when you guys came to pick up the report card today.  I also had a chance to say good-bye to some of the Seniors as well who stopped by to pick up the diploma and the yearbook.

Just want to wish you all a safe and enjoyable summer vacation.  Juniors, use this time wisely, since the college application process is coming up pretty soon!

Seniors: Good Luck, in the next stage of your journey!

Update for 6-10-2013

Finally, last regular school day of this semester, and let the Regent Exam Begins!

Just a friendly reminder:

Chemistry 2 (SCS22):
•  Chemistry Regent Exam will be held next Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 8:00 AM.  Bring 2 pencils, 2 pens, Student ID, and a scientific calculator.  Also, leave your cell phone at home.
•  Start working on the Chemistry Regent Review Packet distributed on Friday.  I will post the solutions on my blog by this Wednesday.
•  Please bring your Chemistry review book to be returned when you came to school for the exam.  Please write your name and my name on a piece of paper and inserted (with flap showing) into the review book.  Either try to find me in the school or ask the Main Office to drop it off in my room.  Failure to return the review book may result in a hold on your report card/transcript.

Earth Science 2 (for SES22, SES42H, SES42):
•  Earth Science Regent Exam will be held this Friday, June 14, 2013 at 8:00 AM.  Bring 2 pencils, 2 pens, Student ID, and a calculator.  Also, leave your cell phone at home.
•  As discussed, I am enclosing several Internet resources to help you study for the Regent Exam in Earth Science (repost):

Here is the update for this weekend:

Chemistry 2 (SCS22):
•  Last deadline for the make-up assignment submissions have come and past.
•  Last Saturday Regent Prep for Chemistry will be held tomorrow - in Rm. 336.
•  Start working on the Chemistry Regent Review Packet distributed in class today.  I will post the solutions on my blog by next Wednesday.
•  Please bring your Chemistry review book to be returned (either Tomorrow or on Monday).  Failure to return the review book may result in a hold on your report card/transcript.

Earth Science 2 (for SES22, SES42H, SES42):

Here is the update for today:

Chemistry 2 (SCS22):
•  Regent Practice Quiz #5 (CastleLearning.Com) is PAST DUE - Finish it up before it closes tomorrow.
•  The Powerpoint for today's Regent Review can be downloaded here.
•  Due to the administering of ES Lab. Performance practical, I will not be in class for the next 2 days.  You will receive an in-class worksheet on Regent Review Questions and I shall try to post the answers on my blog in the evening so you can see your results.
• Start bring in your Prentice-Hall Chemistry Review Book; place your name and period on a sheet of paper and inserted it into the review book (with name showing) before you put them on the front bench (the lower one).  I shall pull out your receipt once I confirmed the book #.

Earth Science 2 (for SES22, SES42H, SES42):
•  Reminder:  Quite a number of you still has not submit completed Lab. Sheet #32 today. 
•  Regent Practice Quiz #5 (CastleLearning.Com) is PAST DUE - Finish it up before it closes tomorrow.
•  If you received an ES Lab Performance test invitation, be sure to go to Rm. 311 during your scheduled time.  Remember:  No practical, No ES Regent Exam!

Chemistry 2 (SCS22):
• Tutorial sheet on Fission Vs. Fusion:  Risk and Benefits has been distributed in class.  You're responsible for going over the content on your own.
• Friday's Powerpoint lesson on Half-Life can be downloaded here.
• Since we got a chance to complete the lesson on Friday, worksheet on Nuclear Reactions and Transmutations will be re-classified as HW#21, and that HW will be DUE on Monday!
•  Regent Practice Quiz #5 (CastleLearning.Com) will be due on Monday.

Earth Science 2 (for SES22, SES42H, SES42):
•  If you did not submit completed Lab. Sheet #32 on Friday, you must do so by Monday.
