*Dr. Liu's Lesson Notes on Regent Chemistry Topics
To My Regent Chemistry Students:
Some of the topics in the Regent Chemistry Curriculum were not covered in regular classes due to the lack of instruction time. I am posting condensed summary Powerpoint lessons in PDF format for you to download and review. These lesson notes should be more understandable compare to just a list of key concepts since it will try to walk you through the actual lesson itself. Take advantage of it and use it to help you prepare for Chemistry Regent Exam!
• Kinetics Molecular Theory of Gases & Gas Laws
• Chemical Kinetics
• Nuclear Chemistry
• Organic Chemistry: IUPAC Nomenclature & Functional Groups
• Organic Chemistry: Organic Reaction Types
Good Luck on the Regent exam!

New York State Earth Science Regent Review/Study Guide
The following resources have been gathered from around the Internet to help you review for NYS Earth Science Regent Exam. You
can download the review sheets and packets by click on the link.
1. Review of Key Concepts - A number of resources are listed below to help you brush up on the important concepts covered in each topic:
• 117 Things to Know for Earth Science Regent - A Study Guide
• 100 Ways to Pass the Earth Science Regent with Test Tips
• Earth Science Regent Review Packet - Notes
2. Topic-Specific Practice Regent Questions: After going over the key concepts, it is crucial that you practice specific questions on each topic to learn how questions will be asked on the Regent exam. The most direct packet for this purpose is listed below:
• Regent Earth Science Review and Study Guide (2013)
3. It has often been said that if you know how to locate information on the Earth Science Reference Tables (ESRT), you can pass the Earth Science Regent Exam. Here are a few resources specifically designed to test your knowledge and extraction of information from ESRT:
• Earth Science Reference Tables Review(2010)
• ESRT Test with Key
• Review for Earth Science Reference Tables
4. No Regent review would ever be considered complete without going over entire previous regent exams. There are two resources that are available to you for this purpose:
• New York State Earth Science Regent Exams (Official Archives)
• CastleLearning Website
These are the most relevant and helpful review resources that I've come across. If you are able to go through every step of this study guide, you will be well-prepared for the Earth Science Regent exam. I will update this list when I come across other good resources.
