Update for 11-12-2013

Here is the update for today:

EARTH SCIENCE 1:
• Reminder:  Earth Science Midterm will be held this Friday - Bring #2 pencil, ESRT, and a calculator.  The materials covered will include everything since the beginning of September.

REGENT CHEMISTRY 1:
•  Announcement:  Lab. #9 will be held in Rm. 311 Tomorrow.
• Reminder:  Chemistry 1 Midterm will be held this Friday - Bring #2 pencil, Chem. Ref. Tables, and a calculator.  The materials covered will include everything since the beginning of September.

Here is the update for this weekend:

EARTH SCIENCE 1:
• Completed Lab. sheet #9 is PAST DUE!
• Guideline for the extra credit assignment will be posted sometime tomorrow.  DUE DATE:  Tuesday.
• Reminder:  Review your notes, HWs, and exams, since the science department midterm will be held this coming Friday.

REGENT CHEMISTRY 1:
•  HW #14 (Due Tuesday):  Worksheet - Basic Facts of the Periodic Table.
•  Announcement:  Lab. #9 will be held in Rm. 311 on Wednesday.
•  Reminder:  Review your notes, HWs, and exams, since the science department midterm will be held this coming Friday.

Another Reminder:  Next Tuesday will runs on a Monday schedule.

Update for 11-7,8-2013

Here is the update for Wednesday and Thursday:

EARTH SCIENCE 1:
• HW #8 (Worksheet-Travel Time Curve) and HW #9 (Worksheet-Plotting Epicenter) are both PAST DUE.  Be sure to submit them no later than tomorrow.
• Completed Lab. sheet #9 is DUE TOMORROW - Do not leave any part unanswered or you will risk rejection.
• Quiz on Earthquake Tomorrow:  Travel Time Curve & Seismic Waves.

REGENT CHEMISTRY 1:
•  Unit 3 Exam is completed.
•  HW #13 (Due Tomorrow):  Prentice-Hall Review - Read pp. 63-67; Do p. 67-68 Problems #1-#29.
•  Lab. #9 has been postponed until either next Tues/Wed (Depending on our progress).

Reminder:  Next Tuesday will be on a Monday schedule.

Here is the update for today:

EARTH SCIENCE 1:
• HW #9:  Worksheet - Plotting Epicenter (Distributed in class).  Complete section 1 as homework, and we will work on it in class on Wednesday (Due at the end of the period).  If you have compass & ruler, please bring it in on Wednesday since I don't have enough to distribute around during the class.
*For Period 8, HW #8 worksheet (Travel Time Curve) will be due on Wednesday.
• Quiz on Earthquake this Friday:  Travel Time Curve & Seismic Waves.

REGENT CHEMISTRY 1:
•  Completed Lab. Report #8 is PAST DUE!!
•  I will post the key to Unit 3 review sheet sometime tonight or tomorrow.
•  Unit 3 Exam will be held on Wednesday Nov. 6, 2013.   Bring #2 pencil, calculator, Ref. Tables.

EARTH SCIENCE 1:
• HW #8 (Due Monday-P2, P3, and P9):  Worksheet - Travel Time Curve.  
*For Period 8, your due date will be Wednesday (lesson will be conducted on Monday).
• Be prepared for a Quiz on Earthquake next week.

REGENT CHEMISTRY 1:
•  Completed Lab. Report #8 will be due on Monday.
•  Unit 3 review sheet has been distributed today.  Complete it as HW.  Will go over the answer on Monday.
•  Unit 3 Exam will be held next Wednesday Nov. 6, 2013.
