Update for 9/21/2009

Here is the update for today:

Regent Chemistry 1:
• No new HW today. Be prepared for Quiz later this week.

Regent Chemistry 2:
• HW #4 (Due tomorrow): Holt - Read pp. 275-285; Do p. 285 Problems #8 a-d, #9 a-b.
• Unit Exam is likely to be later this week or early next week.

Environmental Science 2:
• No new HW today. Make sure you complete your report on barrier islands before this Friday and send it to my e-mail box: "drliu.iths@gmail.com".
• In your report, be sure to address the following points:
- the geological and physical nature of barrier islands
- how barrier islands change over time
- how beaches on barrier island is maintained
- how different states protect barrier islands
- what happens to permanent structures on barrier islands
- state your position after taken all these factors into consideration
