Update for 5-16,17-2013

Due to an appointment, I am unable to be in the school today.  The following is the combined update for yesterday and this coming weekend:

Chemistry 2 (SCS22):
• Reminder:  Lab. Report #30 will be due on Monday.
• In addition to the IUPAC Nomenclature Convention sheet distributed, I am also posting the lesson on organic functional groups to help you with the HW worksheet.  Download it here and go over it.  Whatever we didn't get to complete on Thursday will be finished after Monday.
• In-class HW #19 Worksheet on Naming Organic Functional Groups distributed on Friday (during my absence) will be due next Wednesday.  Work on the problems that you know how to do, and leave the rest until we go over the remaining lesson.
• Regent Practice Quiz #3 will be posted this weekend.  Due Date:  Monday.
• Saturday Regent Prep. continues this weekend.
• Chemistry Dept. Final Exam will be held on Monday - Study hard! (Use the site link on the upper right-hand panel of this blog to help you study).

Earth Science 2 (for SES22, SES42H, SES42):
• The lesson on the Factors that affect the climate can be downloaded by click here.
• In-class HW #12 Worksheet on Atmospheric Factors Affecting Climates distributed on Friday (during my absence) will be due on Monday. 
• Regent Practice Quiz #3 will be posted this weekend.  Due Date:  Monday.
