Hi, Sorry for the delay, here is the update for this weekend:
Chemistry 1 (SCS21):
• HW #19: Worksheet - Nature of Chemical Bonding in a Compound (1st side, should finish during this weekend) and Polarity of Covalently Bonded Molecules (2nd side, wait until after Tuesday's lesson). Due Date for both sides of the worksheet: Wednesday.
• Reminder: Departmental Final Exam will be held on Monday - Bring #2 pencil, calculator, and Ref. Tables. Topics included in Final Exam: Pure Substances vs. Mixture, Density, Temp. Conversion, & Percent Error, Atomic Structure & Models, Periodic Trends of Elements, and Chemical Bonding (Ionic, Covalent, Metallic Bonding).
• Reminder: Deadline for all make up HW and Lab reports - Next Friday.
• Announcement: Unit 5 Exam on Chemical Bonding will be held either next Thursday or Friday.
Earth Science 1 (for both SES41 and SES21):
• Reminder: Departmental Final Exam will be held on Monday - Bring #2 pencil, calculator, and ESRT. Topics included in Final Exam: Observation & Measurements (Density, Volume), Atmospheric Layers, Latitudes & Longitudes, Topological Mappings, Gradients & Profile, Earthquakes and Earth's Interior Layers, Plate Tectonics.
