Update for 1-14-2013

To my students:

I will be administering and grading Jan Earth Science Lab Practical for tomorrow and Wednesday, hence will not be in class for regular classroom instruction.  However, there will be written assignment assigned during the class, and you are to submit those assignments on Thursday as these assignments will go into your 3rd marking period grade.

Here is the update for today:

Chemistry 1 (SCS21):
• Reminder:  Today's Lesson on molar mass and % composition advanced problems practices can be downloaded here.  Be sure to go through all the problems and understand how to solve them (will be on the quiz). 

• Dowload the PDF key to HW#19 Worksheet here.  Be sure to compare that to your HW and look through the rationale and figure out how to determine the polarity of the molecule.
• HW #20 worksheet - molar mass & % composition (should have completed) and mole mass conversion (after Thursday's lesson).  Due:  Friday .
• Quiz on Thursday - Molar Mass, % composition, Mole-Particles conversion.

Earth Science 1 (for both SES41 and SES21):
• HW #14 (Due Monday):  Worksheet - Igneous Rocks (both sides) is PAST DUE!!
• Download today's lesson on Igneous Rocks Composition here.  You will be responsible for the content of this handout for the Quiz on Friday.
• Reminder: For those of you who have not completed CastleLearning Online Exam, you can still do the online exam.  When you're done, write an e-mail to me to remind me to check your Xmas online exam grade (otherwise I won't check it).
